I guess you’re here because you want to know a bit about me right?
Well, My name is Brooke Boddie, and yes its my “real” last name, given at birth. A question I’m constantly asked; pronounced “Body.” I was born in Atlanta, Georgia at Grady Memorial hospital on a cold November day in 1992. My mother told me she endured painful hours of labor because I didn’t want to come out. She told me she turned on her side, walked, did everything she could to get me out, but I came out when I was ready, she said. I often take that approach to life, I like to do things when I am ready. Some people call that stubborn, but hey, I’m a scorpio.
Some facts about me…I have an older brother, and a younger sister. My sister and I are seventeen years apart. So yes, I’m kind of a mom too! My brother and I are sixteen months apart, we are sort of like twins.
Something I am passionate about you ask?
I have always been passionate about literature. I graduated from Georgia State University in 2020 during the Corona Virus Pandemic. It was a virtual graduation, we watched our names go down the computer screen at the scheduled time, and our diploma was mailed to us. I spent my time at GA State majoring in Creative Writing English. I also have an Associates degree in Business Administration. I started writing short stories and poetry when I was eleven years old. I first realized my love for language when I was throwing a temper tantrum. I wanted to break things, and I remember as clear as day how upset I was. I can recall how I couldn’t break things because my guardian, at the time, would have made me regret it. I took the safer route and decided to turn to pen and paper. Believe it or not, I still have a few copies till this day from way back when…back when my handwriting was “block-like”.
I saved these things because I knew that from that day on, I would be writing poetry for the rest of my life. I wanted to share my feelings, and share my knowledge. On top of that, my friends would always call me and ask me to help them write their college papers. It was awesome, I loved giving my friends pointers, and it came naturally. I developed a love for photography during my early years of college. I have always loved nature, and capturing the beauty of the things around me. I have always loved art of different kinds. I have always had a wild imagination. Literature, art, and photography is a great way to bring those fantasies to life.
My goal is to be happy in life. Sharing with the world brings me happiness. People from all over the world can simply search my website and read about all sorts of things. They can read about fashion, self help, sports, travel tips, restaurants, modeling, tips, relationships etc. Now that… is priceless.
