Don’t you wish you could save the world?
And everything in it?
Don’t you wish..
Don’t you wish you could solve every problem..
Be the shoulder strong enough for the world to lean on.
Ever stop?
Ever stop to think..
Who has that duty?
Whose burden are you? Who do you trust to solve your problems?
Are you counting on yourself?
Who will save you?
When there’s physically nothing left in your world?
When the money’s all gone, and the club has shut off its lights.
Who will take you home?
Where will you sleep when there’s no longer a three story house that awaits you in the suburbs of Ohio.
Ever stop to think…
Who has that duty? Whose burden are you?
Who do you look for to solve your problems?
Are you counting on someone else?
Who will save you?
When the Mercedes doesn’t run anymore, when your favorite store officially closes for good, never to reopen. When the flowers you love shrivel up and die, when the wind stops blowing…
When your heart no longer beats.
Wouldn’t you wish you could save the world..
And everything in it?
After there’s nothing left to put on a pedestal..
Would you make God a priority?
Love it. Super woman.
I feel you on this one ever single word.
You write good stuffs love reading them..
And fyi I do t read much but I’ll read what ever you write. Patiently waiting on the book.
